Elshan Rahman is a distinguished legal professional with over a decade of experience, currently serving as the Managing Partner at Aracon Legal and Tax Consulting. With an impressive track record spanning 15 years, Elshan specializes in providing comprehensive legal solutions across a broad spectrum of fields, including taxes, corporate law, M&A, employment, migration, customs, dispute resolution, and banking & finance. His proficiency extends to arbitration, litigation, mediation, and regulatory compliance, alongside expert knowledge in contract negotiation and a host of industry-specific regulations covering oil & gas, FMCG, and pharmaceutical sectors.
Elshan's career highlights include pivotal roles at RJ Legal and Consulting LLC as Managing Partner, where he continued to offer strategic legal counsel and drive business growth. Prior to this, he demonstrated his regulatory acumen as the Regulatory and Compliance Head at the Alat Free Economic Zone Authority, drafting internal regulations and facilitating investor relations. His tenure at Blackgarden Investment & Corporate Advisory and PwC Azerbaijan further underscores his adeptness in legal management, particularly in tax, legal services, and dispute resolution.
An alumnus of Baku State University with both Bachelor's and Master's degrees in International Law, Elshan also pursued a Master’s degree (Candidate) in International Commercial Arbitration at Stockholm University. His commitment to legal excellence is affirmed by his membership in the Azerbaijani Bar Association.
Elshan is multilingual, with native proficiency in Azerbaijani and Russian, full professional proficiency in English, and a solid understanding of Turkish. This linguistic versatility enhances his ability to navigate complex legal landscapes across different jurisdictions.

Javid Jahandarov is a Partner at Aracon Legal and Tax Consulting, with extensive experience in corporate, commercial, and regulatory law.
He advises local and international clients on a wide range of legal matters, including corporate structuring, commercial transactions, contract negotiations, and dispute resolution. His practice covers corporate law, regulatory compliance, government relations, and complex legal disputes across various industries. Prior to Aracon, Javid held senior legal and leadership roles within major companies, where he managed high-stakes transactions and regulatory projects.
He is a member of the Azerbaijani Bar Association and represents clients in commercial, civil, and employment disputes. Javid holds an LL.M. from the University of Kent and an LL.B. from Baku State University.
Huseyn Aliyev

Huseyn Aliyev serves as a Partner at Aracon Legal and Tax Consulting LLC. Within the firm, he leads our Employment, Migration, and Government Relations practices.
With over 15 years of professional experience, Huseyn has worked across a range of industries including construction, FMCG, consulting, advertising, and the public sector.
Prior to joining our firm, he held senior positions at Prime Light LLC, the Alat Free Economic Zone Authority, EKVITA, and other organizations. His core areas of expertise include corporate governance, contracts, labor law, migration, and legal compliance.
Huseyn holds a law degree from Baku State University.
His diverse experience across sectors enables him to deliver practical, risk-aware, and business-oriented legal solutions tailored to our clients’ needs.
